Daniel Crew: Today, responsible for selling on DHL via social media. Dan has been a trainer at DHL for all sellers and worked a lot with sales call reluctance which we will of course talk about. Did a fantastic career and made a Management Buy Out for a Retail Chain in Sweden. Two years later, his very straight career went down when the company went bankrupt and they had big loans and a bit more to handle. The interview is a lot about how to get out of a crisis and what do you think during the process and how to think. Reflections of the past so to say. Of course, much about sales and not least how should sales managers act. Then he found that at DHL they have had sales managers who tried to manage through Excel schema, via mail etc. and nothing worked. What works is need to be done is doing joint visit with the sales people so you can coach them. As a coach you can´t coach your team from the locker room is the clear message. This Conversation that makes a difference led to an article from me on motivation.se entitled "You can not coach from the locker room”
